The Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research (WKI) and the European Panel Federation hosted the European Wood-based Panel Symposium for the tenth time. To mark this anniversary, the wood-based panels industry met for the first time at the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg.
I was booked as a conference photographer and accompanied the wood experts for three days at your symposium and the supporting programme.
More than 20 high-ranking speakers from business, academia and politics reported on the political fundamentals and perspectives of the wood materials industry, as well as raw material supply and challenges to the industry. New developments in technologies and products as well as the opening up of new markets were also focal points of the conference.
On a monitor in the entrance area, I showed a selection of current photos in a slideshow during the conference.
