The International Salvage Union (ISU) is the global association of ship salvage companies, i.e. those that have salvaged the Costa Concordia off the Mediterranean island of Giglio, for example. For three days the members met in Hamburg to discuss current and future developments.
After a warm-up in Indochine Club directly on the banks of the Elbe and a reception in the International Maritime Museum, the representatives of the salvage companies met in the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten. On the Süllberg restaurant they let the visit to the Hanseatic city come to an end.
For Marie Rienecker I accompanied the salvage experts photographically. The photos are used for association work and documentation.
